The repeater supports Digital Conventional, IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Linked Capacity Plus, Connect Plus, mixed mode Digital/Analogue and also Analogue Conventional and MPT 1327 systems. The IP interface allows you to build applications and consoles directly into your system. The repeater has been validated through Motorola’s Accelerated Life Testing Program and meets stringent quality criteria.
The SLR 5500 marks the next generation of Motorola repeaters with 10 times more processing power, 15 times more memory, 12 times more storage, creating the provision for future expansion. The repeater is easy to service with field replaceable power amplifier, modems and power supplies that can all be replaced individually and with the SLR 5500’s internal self-test capability you can be assured the service was successful. Motorola have improved the power efficiency of repeaters with the SLR 5500 consuming 40% less power than the previous model in standby mode and 15% less power in operational mode and it is made from environmentally friendly materials.
